The success of mission critical hinges on the health of our nation’s Service members. Yet some of the most damaging wounds are hidden from view. LHI has a team of Behavioral Health Specialists (BHS) dedicated to evaluating, educating and referring Service members in need of help to heal the war within.
Through our Post Deployment Health Reassessment (PDHRA) Call Center, LHI’s clinical team assesses a Service member’s responses on surveys and interviews to determine mental health needs, and provides encouragement and hope through education about treatment options and resources available through military benefits. BHS also offer referrals for those in need of follow up care. In the most serious of cases, our clinical team responds to and de-escalates emergency situations that arise, and, if necessary, activates the 911 emergency response system to ensure the safety of our Service members and their loved ones.
